The 44th Annual Three Rivers Film Festival kicks off in just a few days, and on Sunday, Nov. 16 it presents The Librarians, the award-winning documentary by Kim A. Snyder (Oscar-nominated Death by Numbers).
As an unprecedented wave of book banning largely addressing race and gender issues is sparked in Texas, Florida, and beyond, librarians under siege join forces as unlikely defenders fighting for intellectual freedom on the front lines of democracy. The Librarians takes us to a front line where librarians emerge as first responders in the fight for democracy and free access to information.
Sunday, Nov. 16 7:30p
The Harris Theater, Downtown Pittsburgh
