In a survey of Documentary Salon members earlier this month, 76% of respondents
said they read, watch, or listen to "several news items or a few long articles" per day about the upcoming election.
Yet over half of those heavy news users report dissatisfaction with the media they are consuming!
And ALL of the respondents had already decided who they're voting for.
(94% for Harris)
So are we all just waiting for this to end?
This month we'll look at media, media consumption, and presidential politics.
But not just us Salon members: we'll expand our geographic and political horizons
with two guests:
* Brandon McGinley, Editorial Page Editor for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
* (via Zoom) John Leete, former judge from Tioga County, PA, and former Republican
You will leave with greater perspective, and hopefully more hopeful!
