In 2019, Salon member Pauline Greenlick and I embarked on a documentary film project in Uganda. One pandemic and multiple trips later, we are now deep in post-production and ready for some outside opinions, like yours! Please join us for a work-in-progress screening of our portrait of Prossy, Rose, Florence, and Evelyn. They all live in the bustling northern Ugandan city of Gulu, but what unites them are their pasts: each was a child soldier, child bride, or refugee in a civil war that ravaged the region. -Will Zavala
