For the second year, The Documentary Salon joins The Video Consortium's annual collection of new regional films. This year, three films are presented:
- Consumed by Grief, a short by Salon members Jose Muniain and Mark Knobil
- Down the House, the latest film about the Braddock phenomenon
- Inhospitable, about UPMC and the corporatization of health care
Each features Q&A with the filmmakers. Congressional candidate Summer Lee will also be in attendance.
The event is rooftop at the beautifully-renovated Ohringer Building in Braddock. Dress warm, but we'll head inside if the weather is too lousy.
Full information here. $10 suggested admission, but if you're a paid Doc Salon member, RSVP here and your membership covers the admission.
